From Essex, England I completed 30 years as a Police Sergeant in the Metropolitan Police. My last role was concerned with the protection of vulnerable young and elderly citizens in my precinct. Animal crazy, I have been involved in animal rescue all my life, with Rottweilers being my passion. We have two rescue dogs; a Rottie called Bear and a Pit-Bull / Rottie cross called Bobbi.
I was born and raise in London England. In the past I have worked as a Fitness Instructor, a Clinical Hypnotherapist and I served 15 years as a Metropolitan Police Officer, with most of my service on the Youth Engagement Team. I worked with young people in London caught up in knife crime for my last 8 years. I have a beautiful daughter called Rae, and Rae has two dogs; a Pug called Missy and an Australian Shepherd called River.
I grew up surrounded by dogs! At age 14, I found two orphaned jackrabbits and raised them until they could be released in the wild. My career is in teaching, but I have volunteered in animal rescue for the since 2009. I do medical, neonate and hospice fostering for cats in my home, and work with dogs in the shelter. I am skilled in administering medication to dogs and cats; orally, trans-dermally and injection. I am able to administer subcutaneous fluids and have been trained in canine and feline CPR. Comfortable with all sizes and breeds of animals, pit bull hold a special place in my heart. I have participated in shy dog socialization classes and pit bull manners classes with rescue dogs and can work with shy or more dominant dogs. I have also been part of the feline socialization team at the animal shelter and I am skilled in working with shy cats. I currently have two rescue cats of my own, Fiona and Duchess. I have been petsitting for 10yrs, and have been with Critter Caretakers since 2014.
I have had a passion for animals as far back as I can remember. My house growing up was always full of an array of critters, from the smallest lizards to horses. I have owned both large and small breed dogs, and I am very comfortable with both. I worked for two years recently as a foster parent for the Yavapai Humane Society. She also raised several litters of kittens and found homes for them. It was a very rewarding experience for her. Randi also volunteered at weekly events held to find homes for various shelter dogs. She currently owns two cats – 13 year old litter mates, a 1 year old desert tortoise, and a she has a koi pond. She believes Critter Caretakers is the perfect job for her, allowing her to take care of lots of different animals. Randi is available for pet sitting in North East Mesa and is comfortable administering medications, both oral and pill to pets.
I have loved and owned various types of animals all of my life. My first dog named Pepe was a rescue and I was 9 years old. I raised 3 boys so we had a variety of pets to include dogs, cats, turtles, fish, snakes and birds. My friends and family started asking me to petsit approximately 5 years ago so when I retired I continued as I thoroughly enjoy it. I currently have 4 dogs. Three of my own and one foster.
I have always had animals of some kind my life. I grew up with a black Cocker Spaniel and a turtle named Junior. Stray dogs used to “find” me even when I was a little girl. My family had dogs for a long time, but when I was in the 6th grade, I was given a newborn kitten whose mother had gotten run over by a car. “Lucky” lived with me for 16 years. After that, I cared for and loved cats, dogs, birds and fish — sometimes separately, sometimes all at the same time. I started pet sitting for others when I was 10 and really haven't stopped since! I absolutely love all animals and taking care of them – It’s my passion. I have volunteered with the AZ Humane Society, mostly working with cats and I am currently the proud mom of 2 rescue cats who found me after they were abandoned. I have been with Critter Caretakers since 2017 and work as a pet sitter full time.
My true passion in life is the care and well-being of animals. I will treat your family members as if they were my own. Animals bring such joy to my heart and I know the importance of a pet owner leaving and knowing their pet family is well cared for. I have owned pets all my life and cannot imagine life without a pet. It will be my honor to love and care for your pets while you are away!
Hi! My name is Linda and animals are my life! I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and volunteering over the years.<br /> I have experience with senior pets and administration of oral medications.
I’m retired from Arizona State Government in which I worked for 30 years. I now have time to do what I really enjoy, pet sitting. I have been pet sitting for about 3 years and it has been such a rewarding experience for me! I don’t know what it is like not having a pet in my life. I grew up with dogs, cats, birds and fish. I currently have 4 cats, which are my babies. Pets are like family, so it gives me great pleasure taking care of your pets.
In tests by the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Tennessee, Wysiwash was able to sanitize both enveloped viruses and nonenveloped viruses with just a two minute contact time.
Enveloped viruses (feline herpesvirus, influenza, and HIV) are relatively easy to inactivate—most soaps will render them non-infectious. However, nonenveloped viruses such as feline calicivirus and canine parvovirus are hardier.
Each Wysiwash Jacketed Caplet contains a highly compressed calcium hypochlorite solution which is more effective and economical to use than liquid bleach. Hypochlorous acid, which is contained in chlorine, is the key sanitizing agent used in the Wysiwash Sanitizing System. Hypochlorous acid is effective against the most dangerous pathogens including bacteria, viruses, fungi (such as ringworm) and protozoa, none of which have become resistant to hypochlorous acid.
Chlorine occurs naturally in soil, and is one of the most abundant chemical elements on Earth. Any organic or inorganic salt contains Chlorine. Wysiwash’s main active ingredient is calcium hypochlorite (a compound made from chlorine, calcium, and oxygen). Calcium hypochlorite is commonly used in public swimming pools and to disinfect drinking water.
