From Essex, England I completed 30 years as a Police Sergeant in the Metropolitan Police. My last role was concerned with the protection of vulnerable young and elderly citizens in my precinct. Animal crazy, I have been involved in animal rescue all my life, with Rottweilers being my passion. We have two rescue dogs; a Rottie called Bear and a Pit-Bull / Rottie cross called Bobbi.
I was born and raise in London England. In the past I have worked as a Fitness Instructor, a Clinical Hypnotherapist and I served 15 years as a Metropolitan Police Officer, with most of my service on the Youth Engagement Team. I worked with young people in London caught up in knife crime for my last 8 years. I have a beautiful daughter called Rae, and Rae has two dogs; a Pug called Missy and an Australian Shepherd called River.
I have been a happy dog and cat owner for the past 40 years. I currently have 4 beautiful rescue dogs and one 12-year-old kitty. I worked in the PetsHotel at Petsmart for about a year caring for all breeds of dogs who were there for doggie daycare and overnight boarding, as well as kitties in for boarding only (no kitty daycare but lots of personal play and petting time). This experience taught me much about different dog personalities, and I learned to be comfortable in a daycare setting with up to 15 dogs of varying personalities. Considering that I personally think of my animals as family members, I know how important it is to have someone care for mine while I am away who I know is going to treat them with as much consideration and love as I do. It is my promise to always do that for your animals also. If you are on vacation, you should be able to enjoy yourself and not worry about whether your animals are being cared for and you will have that with me. If they sleep on the bed with you, they will sleep on the bed with me. If I sense they need extra time with me and I have it to spare, I will happily rub their tummies or give them a doggie massage. I always say there is a reason dog is God spelled backwards!
