Meet Nicole Lueders, member of the Critter Caretaker pet sitting team:
“I grew up surrounded by dogs! At age 14, I found two orphaned jackrabbits and raised them until they could be released in the wild. My career is in teaching, but I have volunteered in animal rescue for the since 2009. I do medical, neonate and hospice fostering for cats in my home, and work with dogs in the shelter. I am skilled in administering medication to dogs and cats; orally, transdermally and injection. I am able to administer subcutaneous fluids and have been trained in canine and feline CPR. Comfortable with all sizes and breeds of animals, pit bull hold a special place in my heart. I have participated in shy dog socialization classes and pit bull manners classes with rescue dogs and can work with shy or more dominant dogs. I have also been part of the feline socialization team at the animal shelter and I am skilled in working with shy cats. I currently have two rescue cats of my own, Fiona and Duchess. I have been petsitting for 10yrs, and have been with Critter Caretakers since 2014”.
